On the Dull Side: Sauk Centre ClimateOne of three (*yawn*) exciting sections Sauk Centre is only a few hundred miles from the center of the North American continent. We're far from any large body of water, with its moderating effects, and well up into what is laughably called the "temperate zone." We don't have climate: we have weather. And if you don't like the weather, wait a day or so: it will change. Just the same, there are some general patterns to what happens here each year. As you can see from the table below, our summers are hot, our winters cold, and sooner or later you will get extreme temperatures during any month. |
