About Our Council

  • Where do we serve? The Bishop Busch Council serves the community of Sauk Centre and the surrounding area.
  • Who's in charge? The Grand Knight for 2004-2005 is Peter Jordan.
  • How did we get started? This Council was founded December 6, 1959, by Knights of Columbus members in Sauk Centre. Our first Grand Knight was Al Marek, and Melvin Ehlert was the first Deputy Grand Knight. In the nearly fifty years since then, we have worked closely with the Sauk Centre community, providing funds and labor for various projects.
